L’associazione Plio, annuncia la disponibilità del nuovo forum italiano per gli utenti OpenOffice.org su: http://user.services.openoffice.org/it/forum/

Il sito si affianca alle preesistenti infrastrutture quali le mailing list (sottoscrivibili qui: http://it.openoffice.org/informazioni/mailinglist.html ) e il newsgroup it-alt.comp.software.openoffice.

La diffusione della suite OpenOffice.org sta assumendo proporzioni ragguardevoli; l’associazione indica che siamo il terzo paese in Europa dopo Francia e Germania con un numero di download che negli ultimi anni è passato dagli 800.000 del 2006 ai circa 8 milioni del 2009.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto da un rivenditore di Vibo, evitando spese doganali; l’oggetto arriva in due giorni lavorativi dal completamento dell’ordine mediante corriere espresso.
La confezione è solo un semplice foglio di cartoncino piegato ed è meno curata di altri prodotti della stessa categoria. La manualistica è assente ed il sito del distributore, con il video correlato diventa una risorsa fondamentale per i non esperti.
E’ sicuramente più solida di alcune soluzioni svizzere concorrenti (Simore) e si estrae meglio da spazi particolarmente angusti grazie al telaietto metallico che offre un minimo di presa.
L’ho provata su un e90 ma se si utilizzano i supporti metallici di copertura siete spacciati e rischiate di dover correre in assistenza per estrarre la scheda.
Funziona egregiamente su Android (htc dream).
Sull’androide in questione l’alloggiamento è abbastanza difficoltoso e far fare bene contatto alle SIM è un impresa.
Premere delicatamente le sim sul supporto su una superfice piana non aiuta se si utilizzano poi i supporti di chiusura metallici che tendono a formare una gobba impercettibile sulla schedina vanificando il contatto.
Come scritto sul forum del venditore inserire le sim senza i supporti metallici, aiuta (per ancorare le schedine è poi possibile utilizzare, ad esempio, una semplice e stretta sctrisciolina di adesivo).
Puntate a pulire (o tener bene puliti) i contatti delle SIM, in seconda istanza mantenete piane le sim rispetto alla schedina (che telaio a parte è un foglio di carta), tagliate accuratamente le sim evitando interferenze con il telaio (che peggiorerebbero il quadro complessivo).
Il software della scheda è minimalistico, prevede solo lo switch fra SIM uno e due senza riavvio del telefono (obbiettivo principale della scheda). Niente rinomina, niente notifiche sulla status bar, niente auto switch, niente software nativo delle SIM, niente…
Il costo è sicuramente conveniente.
